Our client is a relatively young business; seven years into their journey, and demonstrating strong and consistent growth. Their consultants working effectively with clients across the FTSE100 and with ambitious SME organisations; both within the UK and Internationally.

Their consultants are talented specialists with a proven track record for high quality and effective delivery of results. This is underpinned by their extensive knowledge and understanding of their markets, and sets them clearly ahead of their competitors. So you can see that it’s imperative that the senior management team continue to offer their people the right growth and development opportunities; to maximise their potential and performance, and offer them a clear and achievable career path.

Whilst they continue to enjoy progressive growth, they are wisely taking some time to reflect to enable them to develop their business aligned People and Development infrastructure. Priorities include; embedding a new performance management system, introducing a new and improved induction programme, offering a suite of core skills programmes (either developing in-house or working with an external partner to deliver), identifying the critical skill gaps within the management and leadership population and through research and knowledge identifying best practice development or coaching solutions.

Reporting to the Director of People Development, you will support them across their strategic agenda in an operational capacity, and in the medium term there is also an opportunity to potentially offer your services in a consultancy capacity to their clients; in either a talent assessment or learning and development capacity. This would also present an opportunity for you to benefit from an extended bonus opportunity.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate their experience in a Learning or Talent Development function, post-graduation. Ideally, this experience will have provided skills and capability across; talent assessment and development (with a psychometric profiling accreditation), the design and delivery of some soft skills programmes, and the opportunity to select ‘best fit’ external partners as required whilst ensuring a clear return on investment measure.
